Camp Howard
link to book | town: Leavenworth, WA | 2 bedrooms | 2 bathrooms | sleeps 6 | ~$450 per night | no pets
I want to quit life and move to this cabin. It’s super modern, with a ton of windows overlooking the forest and a sauna…a friggin’ sauna! And those windows open up to the deck so you can enjoy that indoor-outdoor lifestyle while enjoying the views from the fire pit.
There’s also a really dope principal bathroom that will make you feel like you’re in a spa. Or the decked out kitchen will make you feel like you’re in Iron Chef. Basically, this place will give you a taste of how the other half lives. All while being in driving distance to Stevens Pass, downtown Leavenworth, and all the fun things to do in Wenatchee.
Leavenworth Tiny House Village
link to book | town: Leavenworth, WA | 1 bedroom | 1 bathroom | sleeps 5 | ~$375 per night | no pets
I go to Plain, WA near Leavenworth every year with my family for some cross-country skiing. It’s one of my favorite winter destinations because it’s near Stevens Pass for some downhill skiing or snowboarding. Plus I love any excuse to explore the best restaurants in Leavenworth.
During one trip, my family and I were cross-country skiing on one of our go-to trails along the Thousand Trails resort grounds. I spotted these colorful tiny home cabins across the distance and exclaimed, “I gotta stay there!”
Well I finally did when the Tiny House Village invited me to check out their cabins a few years ago. I stayed in a bright red one called Rudolf that has a loft with both a queen and twin mattress. With the pullout couch, you can fit up to 5 people, but I’d say it’s best for 2 given the size.
This is hands down one of the best winter cabins in Washington state. It’s cute as a button with a modern kitchen and bathroom, wifi, TV, and outdoor fire pits. Plus it’s right next to a cross-country skiing trail network perfect for getting some fresh air.
There are a few other tiny homes you can choose from at the Leavenworth Tiny House Village:
You can also stay at tiny cabins in their Mt. Hood Village property, which has a ton of awesome ski areas worth exploring.
Chelan Valley Farms
link to book | town: Manson, WA | 1 bedroom | 1 bathroom | sleeps 4 | ~$350 per night | no pets
Chelan Valley Farms is one of the best places to stay in Lake Chelan. It’s run by Chad and Jeana, the sweetest couple who live on the property with their 3 boys, dogs, and farm animals. Their ultra-modern cabin looks like Joanna Gaines from HGTV designed it, with rustic-farmhouse-meets-Scandinavian touches throughout.
Inside you’ll find a full kitchen (with a French Press…so key when traveling!), stove for cozying up by the fire, and the most comfortable bed and bedding (seriously, I kept saying I needed to take the comforter home).
The best part about their property is the sweeping views of their vineyard, orchard, Roses Lake, and the Cascade Mountains you can enjoy from their covered porch. The location is so peaceful, and it’s on my favorite side of the lake for exploring all of the best Lake Chelan wineries and restaurants in Lake Chelan.
Earthlight Villas
link to book | town: Orondo, WA | 1 bedroom | 1 bathrooms | sleeps 4 | ~$485 per night | pet friendly
I had the pleasure of staying at Earthlight Villas and boy, is it a DREAM. Three of its walls have floor-to-ceiling windows so you can take in the stunning views of the Orondo Valley and Columbia River. Plus there’s not a soul in sight, so you can rest easy knowing no one will see you in the soaker tub, open spa shower, or hot tub.
Note, you need to drive about 15 minutes on a gravel road to access this stunning remote property. So be prepared with winter tires or four-wheel drive!

Designer Lake View Cottage
link to book | town: Cinebar, WA | 5 bedrooms | 2 bathrooms | sleeps 10 | ~$210 per night | no pets
What happens when 5 Seattle interior designers buy a cottage? They make one hell of a cute vacation rental. You’ll find a ton of shiplap and thoughtful details in this cottage within an hour’s drive of White Pass Ski Resort. There’s a deck with gorgeous valley views, hot tub, and a ton of little nooks to explore, especially for kids.

New Modern Cabin
link to book | town: Sudden Valley, WA | 3 bedrooms | 2 bathrooms | sleeps 6 | ~$175 per night | no pets

The French country decor is breathtaking and there are multiple king sized beds soaker tubs for relaxing after a long day.
